• Question: Do you think we will ever be able to move our consciousness or measure it? Maybe there is a whole different type of energy we haven’t even discovered yet.

Love this question- for me consciousness is the big unanswered question in science- we know so little about the thoughts in our own heads! I like the idea that consciousness is linked to quantum physics- the smallest particles in the universe that make up everything. Quantum particles have all these amazing properties that normal objects do not, and we don’t understand those fully either! I think the more we can measure quantum particles and understand them, the closer we get to understanding consciousness- it could be absolutely anything, including some kind of energy, or something we haven’t even thought of yet.

Interesting question. Consciousness isn’t itself an energy or has the potential to be one, its a state of mind. As for measuring it, there are some theories which I’ve heard about, but I know of the potential for consciousness to be uploaded into a machine, and your consciousness can live on forever in a machine…would I want to live forever as a machine though, probably not!
