• Question: What happens to the body if you get a heart attack?

      Nothing good! Basically the heart needs blood moving through it otherwise it dies. You can get shortness of breath, severe pains, nausea, tiredness and in worst cases, death!

      When you have a heart attack your stops flexing its muscles in the coordinated pattern that we need it to to deliver blood to our muscles, brain, and more… The reasons for this can be many though. One reason could be your cells ability to send electric signals through the heart stops working correctly causing an arrhythmia. That is why we often have AED boxes in public places. So trained first aid providers can perform CPR and use an AED to reset the hearts electric signals.
