Ooh that’s a tough question. I don’t know if stopping for just a second would be too catastrophic, but I am not a space scientist đŸ™‚
The earth spinning by itself, the moon spinning around it, and the earth moving around the sun control lots of things- the oceans, the time (how bright/dark it is outside), the weather. This spinning is also connected to the spinning of the other planets in the solar system, so any stop would affect the other planets too. Simply put anything influenced by the force of gravity would be affected- how much we weigh, how fast we can move, things like that.
