Favorite was definitely marine biology- but I grew up right next to a brilliant rock pooling area and we’d go in the early morning to find octopus and fish on the low tide (not to eat).

I loved Irish, I’m a fluent speaker so I found it really enjoyable. I also loved English because I love reading, and music because I’ve been playing instruments since I was very small!

Hmm, considering half my subjects were a science (including geography, and maths!)…that narrows it down by over a half. Before I gave it up however for the sciences, it was art for me, just something a bit different and it really helped free the mind!

Art and P.E. were my favorite subjects at school. I always loved drawing and doodling – plus my dad’s the art teacher in our secondary school so I had plenty of coaching. P.E. was just great to relax and have fun kicking a ball around. Science was never my favorite because I never thought I was any good at it. I had to work hard in that class just to get average marks so I never dreamed I would be a scientist one day – that changed over time though, and I’m so glad it did đŸ™‚
